This pantry came about from three friends and former colleagues who share a passion for supporting individuals and families in our community. Through our professional work, we have spent years working with low-resource individuals and families and have seen firsthand the challenges many face in accessing basic hygiene products.
Recognizing this need in Champaign County, we partnered with the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLU-W) and East Central Illinois AFL-CIO to start the CLU-W Hygiene Pantry of Champaign County. Our mission is to help ensure that everyone in our community has access to essential hygiene items that support health, dignity, and well-being.
This pantry exists because of the support of our community, and we are grateful for everyone who helps make this work possible.
